In 2007, Carly trained with a prestigious Aesthetic company in dermal fillers with arguably one of the best nurse trainers in the UK providing an excellent foundation for her injectable treatments.
She learned her aesthetic skills and since has continued to build on her knowledge and techniques with
advanced training in dermal fillers for full face treatments including cheek, lip, chin, tear trough, and jawline enhancement.
Carly’s solid foundation training led her to become a competent and highly precise & skilled practitioner, she continues to build on this with regular updates and training.
Carly trained in Harley Street for her anti-wrinkle treatments foundation and advanced. She then chose to work alongside DR Khan at Harley Street Skin. He was an extremely professional and knowledgeable mentor for Carly when she undertook her Nurse Prescribing course in 2015. She added to her skill set during her time with Dr Khan in his luxurious Harley Street clinic. Dr. Khan was generous with his time and was happy to pass on his knowledge and skills.
Carly has had the privilege of training in Monte Carlo, Nice, and Paris. She attended an anti-ageing symposium in Monte Carlo, and a cadaver anatomy and physiology course in Nice that completely transformed her injecting abilities and skills. Being one of a select few to attend the Q-Med Paris academy led to further enhancing her skills.
Carly recently attended as a guest to the International Master Course on ageing science. In Paris this 3 day event gave Carly assess to the latest innovations in Aesthetic Medicine.
As a guest of the Genuine Dermaroller German company, Carly purchased the Xcellaris Pro Twist Micro needling device to increase patient comfort, improve treatment results and now proudly offers hair loss and thinning solutions to her patients in West Sussex.
Carly is a member of the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses and this enables her access to a range of training opportunities and interactions with Aesthetic colleagues for support and learning. Carly was a leader of the Surrey group and organised basic life support, anaphylaxis training, and a range of training sessions in dermal filler techniques. She stood down from the role when she relocated and left the region.
Carly is a member of the Complications Medical Aesthetics Collaborative deigned to support clinicians in diagnosing and managing aesthetic complications and research into this field.
Carly is a member of Aesthetic Complications Expert world group, this allows access to the current guidelines for dealing with risks and complications. These guidelines are produced using evidence-based medicine, best practice, and consensus from speciality experts. Although complications in Aesthetic Medicine are rare, it is important to be able to deal with them appropriately and have the knowledge & training to respond appropriately and provide vital support.
Carly appreciates that aesthetics speciality is continually changing and realises the importance of keeping her training up to date and offering the latest in treatments and techniques. Carly’s carefully selected portfolio of products and treatments comprises premium dermal fillers with extensive clinical data, research, and development.
Carly chooses from a range of brands to ensure an individualised treatment plan. These include Aliaxin, Teosyal, Juvederm and Belotero dermal fillers, & Profhilo due to the ethical nature of the companies and the quality of their products.
Carly offers a bespoke cosmeceutical skincare range to enhance the look and feel of your skin. This provides support to existing aesthetic treatments to increase the skin’s ability to respond to in-clinic treatments or can be used as a stand-alone approach for improved skin and anti-ageing benefits.
