The consultation is an extremely important step in your aesthetic journey.
I will welcome you to my clinic room in Littlehampton, a beautiful Edwardian building. It is private and discreet.
I will start by asking you why you have contacted me. There are many reasons why men and women reach out to me for help, such as:

There are many more reasons why people contact me. It may be that they look in the mirror and feel they do not recognise themselves anymore as they have become older and have lost confidence. It can be due to the appearance of pigmentation, breakouts or age spots. It may be due to having less lip volume than they would like or a lack of definition.
I help and support in any way I can to get people back to their skin confidence. There is no better feeling than a person telling me they feel happier and more confident after treatment. So, how does it all begin?
I will listen and take notes as you talk to me. I will ask many questions about your medical history to check your suitability for treatment and to ensure that, should there be any underlying health issues, how this may affect potential treatment or in some cases make a person unsuitable for certain treatments. If this is the case, I will explain why and answer any questions.
I will have a look at your skin to assess treatment suitability and what treatments may be of benefit to you and what steps are required. This is dependent on a number of factors such as age, degree of volume loss, the presence/absence of pigmentation, the quality of the skin, skin hydration levels and many more.
In the consultation, I will be asking lots of questions to establish what you are hoping for and to really get to know you and get a feel for what kind of treatment you may be looking for. I will utilise my 18 years of experience in aesthetic treatments to help devise a plan with you if appropriate.
I will then discuss potential treatment options and talk through the risks versus benefits of those.
All aesthetic treatments present with some level of risk. I will explain in detail what things to consider in terms of treatment and the process after treatment.
You will have the opportunity to ask any questions, and you may take some further information with you should you wish to and read through in your own time so you can absorb the information. You are then able to make an informed decision before proceeding with any treatment.
During the consultation, we will also discuss your current skincare to find out if you are getting the best results possible and if there are other ingredients you may want to incorporate in or start a new routine. I find if people have the right skincare it can really affect the level of response they get from their aesthetic treatments. If skin has been prepared with the right ingredients and skin formulations it can be much more receptive to clinic treatments.
In the appointment, we will talk about how you feel about your skin and how it affects your life. All discussions in the consultation and future appointments are confidential.
It is your opportunity to talk through how you are feeling and what your hopes and aspirations are for treatment. I will talk you through how to prepare for treatment, what will happen during your appointment and the after-care advice necessary post-treatment on the day of treatment. This can allow planning in your diary when it is most convenient.
I will talk through post-treatment care and how to look after your skin and what you are likely to experience after you have had your treatment.

There is a consultation fee and this will be deducted from treatment, provided you are suitable.
My consultations are detailed and thorough and it is really important to ensure your suitability for treatment and determine if you are ready to start treatment. If you do not feel quite ready, always wait and take some time.
